I’m Kevin Patrick Robbins, a professional photographer based in Hamilton, Ontario, specializing in personal portraits, corporate headshots, acting headshots, and personal branding photography. My Philosophy

With a BA in Communications Studies, a background in screenwriting, and years of experience as a copy editor and photo editor at a daily newspaper, I bring a storytelling approach to every project. I understand how to craft a narrative, whether through words or visuals, and I ensure every image I create resonates with your audience.

I specialize in professional headshots that help clients stand out — whether it's for LinkedIn, acting portfolios, or corporate websites. From personal portraits to business headshots for entire teams, each session is customized to reflect the unique needs of my clients. I also provide destination wedding photography, capturing the emotion and beauty of your most important day. For those organizing events, I offer on-site headshot stations, giving attendees the opportunity to walk away with a professional, high-quality headshot.

My studio is located in the heart of The Cotton Factory in Hamilton, a creative hub that reflects my approach to photography — innovative, collaborative, and vibrant. I’m committed to providing a relaxed and welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera.

The Creative Journey

I’ve always been driven by a passion for creativity and connection. After years of teaching improv in Toronto and running The Impatient Co., a long-form improv comedy training centre I founded and ran for 12 years, I developed a unique perspective on storytelling, spontaneity, and human connection. I also founded and ran the Toronto International Improv Festival for over a decade, giving me a deep appreciation for the art of performance and personal expression.

My time as a copy editor and photo editor at a daily newspaper taught me the importance of clarity, precision, and narrative flow. These skills directly influence how I approach photography today — ensuring that every image I capture tells a compelling and concise story.
